PARIS – Reed Smith announces that lawyers from its Paris office advised the Bayard Group on its recent acquisitions of Bipel, Laboludic, News O Matic, and Alphonse, helping this major player to enhance its content and service offering in the French press and publishing market.

The successive acquisitions of these four companies this year significantly strengthen the links between Bayard and its various audiences and demonstrate the Reed Smith team’s ability to support its clients in external growth operations in a wide range of business sectors.

  • Laboludic is a French publisher of board games for children,
  • News O Matic is a daily news digital medium aimed at children aged 8 to 12, and
