PitchBook ranks Reed Smith among most active law firms in private equity transactions in over 15 categories for the first quarter of 2024

NEW YORK – Global law firm Reed Smith has started the year as among the most active law firms for private equity transactions, according to research and analysis firm PitchBook’s Global league tables: Q1 2024.

The firm ranked within the top 25 global firms in a significant number of private equity categories (measured by deal count), including the following:

  • By Deal Type: Most active in buyouts and other private equity transactions
  • By Representing Investors: Most active globally, in the United States and Europe
  • By General Geography: Most active globally, in the United States, and Europe
  • By U.S. Jurisdiction: Most active in West Coast and Southeast
  • By European Jurisdiction: Most active in France and Germany
  • By Sector: Most active in healthcare, financial services, materials and resources, and business-to-consumer transactions.
