Brendan is also part of the firm’s global environmental, social and governance (ESG) practice, focused on assisting corporate clients achieve their sustainability and climate change initiatives, including through the use of novel financing structures. 

Brendan’s infrastructure experience includes representation of developers, lenders and sovereigns in a wide range of sectors, including airports, water (including desalination), toll roads, and ports in various jurisdictions, including the United States, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Canada and the Caribbean.

Brendan has significant experience in Central Asia and India. He lived and worked in Kazakhstan where he assisted with the successful financial restructuring of two of the nation’s four largest banks. Brendan has also represented Indian and international clients on in-bound and out-bound Indian investments, including numerous cross-border joint venture transactions in India.
