Amy is a staff attorney at Reed Smith who provides firm wide support to the Litigation Department. She is focused primarily on defending financial services clients in federal and state court against claims of consumer fraud, unfair and deceptive practices, California Homeowners Bill of Rights, Truth-in-Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act violations, and predatory lending practices peripheral to foreclosure actions. In that role, she actively engages in drafting all manners of pleadings, motions and discovery and negotiating settlements to continually move cases towards resolution. She has a client-friendly desire to resolve pending matters in the most expedient and cost-effective manner due to her prior experience in supervising outside counsel and coordinating with decision makers from various lines of the business.
