Reed Smith advises Bootstrap on fundraising for Animaj

PARIS - The Paris office of Reed Smith has advised Bootstrap on the fundraising of around €100 million for Animaj, a start-up specializing in audiovisual content for children.

The funds were raised from various investors:

  • Debt: Bootstrap, Atempo and Violat Credit
  • Series Seed: XAnge, Daphni, Kima Ventures and several business angels
  • Series A: Left Lane, Resonance, XAnge, Daphni and Motiers Ventures

Thanks to this round of financing, Animaj will be able to buy franchises on YouTube and mobilize AI to improve them and use them on other channels.

Reed Smith advised Bootstrap on debt and securities, with a team comprising partner Guilain Hippolyte and associate Marco Hazan on corporate aspects, and partner Baptiste Gelpi and associate Audrey Minnie on debt aspects.
