Reed Smith represents Webster Equity Partners on sale of Retina Consultants of America

PHILADELPHIA – Global law firm Reed Smith served as health care regulatory counsel to Webster Equity Partners and its portfolio company, Retina Consultants of America, in its entry into a definitive agreement to sell RCA to Cencora, Inc. (NYSE: COR) for approximately $4.6 billion in cash and up to $500 million in aggregate contingent consideration, provided certain predefined business objectives are met. The transaction is subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including required regulatory approvals.

Retina Consultants of America is a network of elite retina practices that provide exceptional care across the nation for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, geographic atrophy and all conditions of the retina.
