Rupprecht was recognized in the insurance category for recovering more than $200 million during the last year alone for policyholders in complex and high-stakes insurance disputes.

He litigates insurance coverage disputes exclusively on behalf of policyholders in the life sciences, energy, and manufacturing industries for a variety of claims, including environmental liabilities, cyber losses, mass torts, False Claims Act liabilities, and first-party losses. Rupprecht also advises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily housing groups on implementing insurance directives from the Fair Housing Finance Administration to address the impact of insurance on housing affordability.

Mayer was honored in the health care category for his successful track record in complex managed care disputes, particularly his recent work handling disputes involving the No Surprises Act, 340B drug payments, and medical cannabis coverage in cases across the country.

He advises managed care organizations in arbitration and litigation across the country and has extensive experience handling payor-provider disputes, contract claims, out-of-network reimbursement issues, and regulatory matters. Mayer also represents clients in the cannabis industry on disputes involving contracts, corporate transactions, class actions and state laws. He provides pro bono legal counsel to Greyhounds Only, a nonprofit greyhound rescue organization.
