Reed Smith advises a pool of investors on their investment in Animaj

PARIS – Reed Smith's Paris office has advised Bootstrap, Viola Credit, Atempo Growth and Decalia on their investment in Animaj, a French digital media company specializing in children's content and entertainment. The transaction also includes a loan facility extended by J.P. Morgan to Animaj.

This financing round will support Animaj’s continued growth and international development, reinforcing its position as an emerging player in the digital entertainment and intellectual property (IP) acquisition sector.

The transaction is part of a broader financing operation combining debt and equity, with the participation of HarbourView, BPI Large Ventures, JP Morgan, Left Lane, XAnge, Daphni, and Marquee Ventures.

Reed Smith’s Paris office advised the investors on the corporate and financing aspects of the transaction. The team was led by Ilana Smadja, assisted by Guilain Hippolyte, Baptiste Gelpi and Marco Hazan.

J.P. Morgan was advised by Osborne Clarke (UK).
