Anna Karapetyan’s practice focuses on business transactional law, with an emphasis on real estate and corporate transactions. She has significant experience in the development, construction, and debt and tax equity financing of utility-scale energy projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, and electrical transmission projects throughout California and the United States.

Representative matters

Advised affiliates of Terra-Gen on the site acquisition, development, construction financing, and tax equity financing of the first two phases of the Edwards Sanborn Solar and Energy Storage Facility in California, comprising over $2 billion in total capital commitments and about 3,300 MWh of energy storage capacity.
Advised a project developer on the development and construction financing for a $652 million wind energy generation project. The project is among the largest and most complex of its kind with a 400-megawatt capacity involving multiple federal, state and local governmental agencies. The project spanned more than 95,000 acres of land across two counties and involved over 250 landowners.
Represented a project developer in the sale of a wind project to a public utility, with a purchase price exceeding $600 million. This project was one of the largest in the US Midwest with turbines capable of powering 120,000 homes.
