Experience

Representative matters

Advised PPC Renewables, the renewables arm of Public Power Corporation, the largest power producer and supplier in Greece, on the successful acquisition of a 164 MW wind projects portfolio from Intrakat, a major Greek construction group, as well as on the setting up of a joint venture with Intrakat for the joint development, construction and commercial operation of a 1.6 GW renewable energy & energy storage projects portfolio. Advice also extended to the review of certain development services agreements and construction contracts (i.e. and turn-key and BoP EPC contracts).
Advised PPC Renewables on the €294.40 million financing for the construction of a single-site 550 MWp solar PV project under development in Ptolemaida region, northwest Greece, from Eurobank and Piraeus Bank, two major Greek commercial banks and NextGenerationEU funds under the Resilience and Recovery Facility (RRF).
Acted for a major Asian energy group on its negotiations for the acquisition of a significant interest in several Greek SPVs (of the same group) owing a 250 MW operating wind and solar PV projects portfolio. Advice also extends to issues concerning the operation of the Greek power market.
