Larkin B. Ellzey

Larkin primarily represents private equity firms and their portfolio companies, as well as venture capital-backed and founder owned businesses, in a wide range of corporate matters, including platform acquisitions, add-on acquisitions, sell-side transactions, corporate restructurings and financings. Given the volume of transactions he works on, Larkin is constantly in tune with market terms and market trends, and he is adept at developing and orchestrating plans to close transactions in line with the client’s expectations and goals.

Larkin also serves as outside general counsel to growing and established businesses, providing legal support across the organization and coordinating legal advice from other practice areas within the firm, including commercial contracts, employment, incentive equity and privacy.

Additionally, he has extensive experience representing franchisors and multi-unit franchisees with respect to franchise relationships and corporate transactions.

While his practice services private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, and other clients across the nation, Larkin remains active in the business and legal communities in his home state of South Carolina.
