Defending a national oil company in a US$40+ billion arbitration in Geneva relating to the termination of a gas supply and purchase contract by a private UAE counterparty, concerning issues of frustration, sanctions, market fundamentals and midstream facilities.

Representing a joint venture of oil and gas majors in relation to an ICC arbitration in Stockholm, concerning a price review dispute in a gas supply and purchase agreement.

Defending a national oil company in a US$15 billion arbitral proceeding in London, administered by the PCA, in connection with the non-supply of gas under a long-term supply agreement.

Advising a venture capital group in relation to investigations by the UK energy regulator regarding the design and construction of solar farms and advising on potential civil claims against EPC contractors.

Advising a global LPG replacement partnership regarding the legality and enforceability of a contractual option agreement in relation to a major net zero project for LPG replacement from refuse-derived fuels.

Acting as in-house Counsel at national power generator, assisting with the transition from coal power stations to Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage whilst on secondment.
