Philip Chang

During law school, Philip interned in the business and legal affairs departments of Marvel Studios and Fox Entertainment.

Philip represents leading private equity funds, public and private companies, funds, high-net-worth individuals, video game companies, and film and television studios on mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, complex intellectual property agreements, and other commercial matters.  He also regularly advises clients on a wide range of general corporate matters, including corporate governance, restructurings, and commercial contract negotiations.  He has experience counseling clients on day-to-day business operations, compliance issues, and cross-border transactions, ensuring that both emerging and established companies are well-positioned for growth and success.

His practice also includes advising on production legal, financing, and distribution for acclaimed films and television series. Philip also works with leading video game publishers on e-sports, technology transactions, advertising, product counseling, and data privacy issues, providing corporate and commercial advice to in-house counsel, publishers, developers, and other key stakeholders.
