Robin B. Jeffcott

Robin has extensive experience in investigations and employment litigation. His experience in investigations extends to all manner of sensitive issues, including allegations of fraud and misconduct, and includes both undertaking investigations himself and guiding clients to manage the investigation themselves in a compliant and appropriate manner. He also regularly represents clients in complex and high-value disputes before both the Employment Tribunal and the High Court. He has enjoyed notable success in defending discrimination and whistleblowing claims and in acting for employers to enforce their rights in relation to confidential information, the enforcement of restrictive covenants, and “garden leave” (where he has acted in a number of important and high-profile cases).

Robin is a regular speaker at client conferences and Reed Smith client seminars. Most recently, he has led seminars and roundtables on the UK government’s employment law reforms, non-financial misconduct, protecting business interests in the global marketplace, and the new duty to prevent sexual harassment.
