NEW YORK – Reed Smith today announced a promotion class of 71 lawyers worldwide, effective January 1, 2023. Thirty-seven associates and counsel advanced to partner; 34 associates advanced to counsel.

The new partners are located in 14 of Reed Smith’s offices worldwide: 12 offices in the U.S., as well as London and Paris. These partners represent a dozen practice groups as well as each of the firm’s five core industry groups: financial services, life sciences and health care, energy and natural resources, entertainment and media, and transportation. The 2023 partnership cohort comprises 15 women, 21 men, and one non-binary individual; 27 percent are diverse.

The new counsel are based in 18 offices across Reed Smith’s global platform. Forty-seven percent are women and 27 percent are diverse.
