Reed Smith earned practice rankings in 19 categories, and 13 of its lawyers were listed in 15 categories serving the aviation, shipping, finance, technology and media industries, in Chambers Asia Pacific 2024 rankings released today.

The listings illustrate the firm’s strong reputation for practical solutions to major disputes, commercially minded corporate advice, and service to companies in the transportation, technology and other industries.

This year, the firm earned Band 1 practice rankings for Shipping: Litigation, Asia-Pacific Region and Shipping: International Firms, South Korea – but it also earned a new listing for data protection. Here is the full list of Reed Smith practice listings, by region then practice area.

Individual Rankings

Many of the 13 lawyers from Reed Smith were listed for dispute resolution in its various forms, as well as for corporate and investigative services. Three of the firm’s lawyers ranked in Band 1. Energy and natural resource partner Kohe Hasan secured a Band 1 posting for General Business Law, Cambodia; transportation litigation partner Alex Andrews won a Band 1 listing for Shipping: International Firms, South Korea; while corporate partner Han Ming Ho ranked Band 1 for Investment Funds: International, Singapore.
