Chu is a partner in the Financial Industry Group and specialises in fund finance. Chu joined Reed Smith in September 2013 as a trainee.

Chu acts for a variety of borrower- and lender-side clients, with a primary focus on banks and other financial institutions, on the full range of fund finance products, including subscription line facilities, net asset value (NAV), hybrid, co-investment, and general partner support facilities.
