Reed Smith is delighted to be supporting the 27th IECA European Conference which will be held at the AC Hotel Ambassadeur, Juan Les Pins in France from the 23 – 25 June 2013.

The conference will kick off with a session on legal issues, ranging from what is happening in the European markets under EMIR and the effect of the practical implementations for energy firms.  This year’s guest speaker is The Right Honourable Michael Portillo, and keynote speaker is Xavier Jung, head of finance specific risks with the EDF Group. 

A number of Reed Smith partners will be participating throughout the three-day conference. These include Brett Hillis, speaking on the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) – Practical Implementation for Energy Firms; Peter Zaman, speaking on letters of credit as collateral; and Claude Brown who will be participating in a panel discussion entitled: Important Energy Legal Issues.
