Reed Smith’s London Labour and Employment Group will host an afternoon seminar assessing key developments on the employment law horizon.

With the general election approaching in May, the group will look at what could happen to employment law if the UK were to leave the EU, sure to be one of the most hotly debated topics in the lead up to the election. Our lawyers will also look at collective redundancy consultation, trying to answer if UK legislation has been rewritten.

Further topics to be covered will include the ‘Broadening landscape of discrimination law’, looking at the future of age, caste, class, obesity, philosophical belief and sexual discrimination, as well as an incisive round-up of recent cases and their implications for UK employment law.

The seminar will start at 3.30 p.m. with registration and refreshments, concluding at 6.15 p.m., followed by a cocktail networking reception.

Attending the whole seminar will count for 2 CPD points.
