Please join us for a moderated discussion featuring the Hon. Judge Nora Barry Fischer, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Hon. Judge Thomas Hardiman, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Recent substantive and procedural developments in the law have significantly impacted how in-house counsel should evaluate their legal risks. The Honorable Nora Barry Fischer and the Honorable Thomas Hardiman will share their thoughts on what parties should know when they face litigation in federal court. Among the topics discussed will be the effect of the recent changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, how judges evaluate the cases on their dockets, and challenges faced by the courts in deciding complex or novel cases. The CLE is sponsored by the Women’s Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania. The WBA is a licensed provider of CLE in Pennsylvania. This program has been approved for one substantive CLE credit in Pennsylvania.
