New amendments to Federal Rule of Evidence 902 - set to go into effect December 1, 2017 - may impact decisions already being made on data preservation and collection.
The amendments essentially provide that electronic evidence collected in accordance with certain protocols will be afforded a presumption of authenticity for evidentiary use. Thus, this new rule may have a significant impact on electronic evidence preservation and collection practices.
Join us for this one hour webinar to learn more about new FRE 902(13) and (14), including analysis of its expected impact.
Speakers: David R. Cohen Partner, Reed Smith LLP, and John Patzakis Executive Chairman of the Board, X1.
