With block chain usage set to top one billion by the end of 2022, interactions between the offline “real” world and the online web3 environment look to increase. This increased interaction requires clarity for law practitioners on issues surrounding claim formation, enforcement regulation, and jurisdiction. Can the very nature of the practice of arbitration itself be changed by web3? Where will evidence be stored and proceedings take place? Will the digitization of assets and currencies change how claims are funded?

The panelists are also expected to cover:

  • What happens when you have a dispute with DAO?
  • What impact will digitally transferrable assets have on arbitration?
  • Predictions about the challenges web3 will bring to law practitioners.
