Gerry Stegmaier will be a panelist on “Privacy and Cybersecurity: Governance, Oversight, and Risk Management” on Tuesday, June 10th. This panel is focused on the importance of implementing a data privacy and security governance structure, identifying regulatory trends in cyber risk, and discussing third-party risk in terms of due diligence programs and M&A transactions. Discussion topics will include:

  • Understanding important privacy and data security governance and risk management principles and industry recognized standards, especially in light of developing AI governance models
  • Identifying privacy and security governance trends and board oversight considerations
  • Understanding the new SEC cybersecurity disclosure rules and impact on management and board oversight
