March 9, 2015, Washington, D.C. – Reed Smith LLP today announced Wendy W. Taylor as its new Chief Marketing Officer. She will lead the firm’s global business development and marketing operations from its Washington, D.C., office.
Taylor was previously Chief Marketing Officer at Dechert LLP, where she had been since January 2011, overseeing that firm’s worldwide marketing and business development efforts.

At Reed Smith, Taylor will work with the Senior Management Team and other firm leaders to establish a marketing and business development strategy geared to the enhancement and growth of client relationships.

Prior to Dechert, Taylor was Director of Marketing at Washington, D.C.-based Promontory Financial Group, a leading consulting firm in the financial services industry for two years. Before Promontory, she led global marketing at Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells) from 2002 to 2009.
Taylor is a frequent speaker at legal marketing industry conferences and forums. In 2013, she served as co-chair of the Legal Marketing Association Annual Conference. She earned a B.A from Brown University.
