The National Law Journal

The National Law Journal (NLJ) has named Chicago partner Patricia Dondanville a “2016 Energy & Environmental Law Trailblazer.” For this honor, NLJ recognizes top lawyers who influence change in the areas of energy and environmental law with innovative legal strategies. Dondanville was recognized for her groundbreaking work on behalf of energy clients regarding the Dodd-Frank Act, and related banking and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulations. She was also noted for serving as the principal drafter of the Edison Electric Institute Master Power Agreement (the industry’s master contract for trading electric power and related commodities), among numerous other achievements over more than 20 years representing energy industry clients in complex financing and trading transactions.
