Global law firm Reed Smith received the ‘Best Health & Wellbeing Initiative’ award at the HR in Law Awards 2016 (firms of up to 750 employees) for Path+, its pioneering employee benefits programme in London.

HR in Law is a UK organisational network for human resources professionals in the legal sector. The awards, which took place on 5 May 2016, aim to celebrate exceptional achievements throughout the industry.

Claire Gibbens, reward manager EME, and Christine Brown, health and safety advisor, combined their respective insights into the needs and expectations of staff to develop Path+, an over-arching employee benefits programme comprising six different pathways: emotional, physical, nutritional, environmental, financial and personal. Each pathway offers a series of events, information outlets, sessions and initiatives throughout the year.

At the awards, Path+ was deemed “a comprehensive programme that covered the full breadth of health and wellbeing in an intelligent, coherent manner. The judges were particularly impressed with the quality and depth of offering for a firm of this size”.
