[SINGAPORE, 23 October 2017] - Global law firm Reed Smith today announced the addition of a projects and construction lawyer Bree Miechel to the firm’s Singapore office. Bree joins as a partner in the firm’s global Energy and Natural Resources Group from the Singapore office of Simmons & Simmons, where she led the construction practice for the Southeast Asia region.

Bree, who has more than 12 years of experience working in Asia and the Middle East, advises sponsors, lenders, government authorities and contractors on conventional and renewable power, energy efficiency, water and waste, oil and gas, transport and social infrastructure projects locally, regionally and worldwide. She recently advised a project sponsor on its procurement strategy for an upstream liquids project in South East Asia and on a pro bono basis leads a work stream for the Solar Energy Standardisation Initiative spearheaded by the Terrawatt Initiative and the International Renewable Energy Agency.
