Vivian’s international practice is comprised of a mix of merger and acquisitions, credit and capital markets transactions. She has represented borrowers and lenders in connection with secured and unsecured financings for U.S. and non-U.S. transactions, lenders and financially distressed borrowers on workouts and debt restructurings as well as sponsors in private equity transactions. Additionally, Vivian practiced in Hong Kong, where she represented private equity funds in public and private merger and acquisitions, credit and capital markets transactions.
She will join a San Francisco finance team that was bolstered by the addition of William Veatch and Catherine Young Hagerty from Morrison Foerster in spring 2017. The San Francisco office has also benefitted from the recent arrival of cybersecurity and privacy partner Xiaoyan Zhang to the firm’s global Information Technology, Privacy and Data Security group.

Vivian is a member of the New York bar and is qualified as a solicitor in England, Wales, and Hong Kong, and is qualified as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore. She earned her LL.M at the University of Chicago Law School, and her Bachelor of Laws with High Honors (J.D. equivalent) at the National University of Singapore.
