CENTURY CITY - Reed Smith today announced that Moshe J. Kupietzky, formerly of Sidley Austin LLP’s Los Angeles office, has joined the firm as senior counsel in its Century City office. Kupietzky previously served as head of Sidley’s Los Angeles Corporate and Finance practice for more than 20 years, and he was managing partner of the firm's Los Angeles office from 2003–2009.

He has more than 40 years of experience representing clients in the music and film industries. Kupietzky’s recent entertainment industry experience includes the acquisition, disposition and financing of multiple high-value music publishing catalogs, film libraries, television production companies and music rights societies. He has also represented major international companies in strategic joint ventures and investments, as well as credit parties in various financings, particularly in the entertainment industry.
