The arrival of Stark, a former partner at K&L Gates in Dallas, brings the total number of Reed Smith lawyers in Dallas to 32.
“Nigel adds to our top-level transactional capability in Dallas as we build out a strong corporate practice,” said James Tandler, Chair, U.S. Corporate Group and Co-Chair, Global Corporate Group. “His technology transactions and outsourcing practice will make him a valuable asset to many of our clients in a variety of industries and increases our core strength in the Dallas technology sector.”
Stark’s practice focuses on helping companies institute new technologies that bring greater efficiency to their core business and better manage their operating costs. Part of that solution includes outsourcing some components of their business. He represents and negotiates on behalf of both customers and vendors in an array of commercial and non-commercial technology-related transactions. In addition, he also advises clients in joint-venture and co-development arrangements and works with clients in the creation of enterprise-wide policies and strategies regarding emerging technologies.
