“We are always committed to providing exceptional client service in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible – and that focus drives the development of new technologies and project management solutions,” Reed Smith Global Managing Partner Sandy Thomas said. “All of our lawyers have the opportunity to innovate and bring new ideas to the firm and our clients, as such we’re very pleased that the FT has again recognized the success of these efforts.”

Most Digital Law Firm

In the inaugural “Most Digital Law Firms” category, the FT North America Innovative Lawyer Awards recognized the top 20 law firms that are leveraging technology to advance the business of law. Reed Smith achieved the fifth-highest score on the FT’s 2020 Technology and Data survey and corresponding research.

“Our internal Practice Innovation Team harnesses new ideas from our firmwide community to develop technology solutions that evolve our internal business processes and develop new client solutions — such as our new forensic analysis offering or our automated contract lifecycle management systems.” Reed Smith Chief Knowledge Officer Lucy Dillon said. “Likewise, our data solutions subsidiary GravityStack backs us the entire way, serving as both an incubator for new technologies and as a service for delivering these new advances to market.”
