Loepere was recognized for her extensive health experience, which includes guiding parties on due diligence, change of ownership issues, regulatory approvals and related regulatory issues. Her practice focuses on advising health care, life sciences and private equity clients on the regulatory requirements and business considerations in connection with health care transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, public offerings, investments in health care companies and financing transactions.
Loepere also advises clients on compliance with physician self-referral and anti-kickback laws, and with beneficiary inducement and exclusion issues; she handles payor audits and False Claims Act investigations and proceedings.
This past year, the Washingtonian also named James McNair, a partner in the firm’s Executive Compensation, Private Client and Tax Group, as a Top Financial Adviser, and it named Gerry Stegmaier, a partner in the firm’s Emerging Technologies Group, as one of its 500 Most Influential People in Washington.
