On April 29, 2005, the CFA Institute (formerly known as the Association for Investment Management and Research - AIMR) released the final version of its model Asset Manager Code of Professional Conduct. The Code was produced by the CFA Centre for Financial Market Integrity, which was formed by the CFA Institute "to explicitly support the CFA Institute mission to lead the investment industry in setting the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct."
