Sara focuses her practice on litigation and regulatory matters for managed care organizations, handling arbitration and class actions across the country. She brings extensive experience in health and human services allowing her to serve clients in many matters, such as, insurance claim disputes involving behavioral health, 340B drug pricing program, providers, and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
With an eye to the future of the industry, Sara leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiency and improve client outcomes. She is well-versed with the latest innovation tools to optimize her practice and deliver high-quality results.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Sara founded MuniTask. Previously, she served as Assistant Legal Counsel for the Illinois Senate, providing legal counsel to the health, healthcare access and availability, and behavioral and mental health committees. In addition to her J.D., she holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
