Gareth was head of the King & Wood Mallesons’ SJ Berwins Tax practice in London and the co-head of its EUME Tax practice. He was also head of King & Wood Mallesons’ Global Employee Benefits Practice.
He advises on domestic and cross-border M&A for public and private companies, private equity houses, management teams and public and private companies across a number of sectors. He also advise on private equity fund establishments, co-investments and carried interest arrangements. He also advises on the tax aspects of corporate finance transactions, corporate restructurings, venture capital transactions, real estate transactions, hedge fund structures and tax disputes.
