Coco graduated as class salutatorian from DePaul University College of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Coco was the Managing Editor of Lead Articles of the DePaul Law Review, a judicial extern at the Circuit Court of Cook County, and a volunteer at the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic.
Coco is committed to fostering an active pro bono practice, specifically focusing on prisoner’s rights and immigration matters. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Coco was a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Graduate Fellow at UIC John Marshall Law School’s Pro Bono Litigation Clinic where she assisted low-income residents in handling a wide variety of legal matters including expungements, prisoner’s rights, and discrimination.
