Kristen is a senior paralegal in the Intellectual Property Group focusing on patent, trademark and copyright prosecution. Her practice focuses on intellectual property matters, including the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patents, trademarks and copyrights and other related intellectual property areas, including litigation and due diligence research.
More specifically, she manages IP prosecution relating to patents, trademarks, and copyrights by maintaining an IP docket to secure, maintain, police, protect and enforce IP rights in the US and worldwide; prepares, files and maintains US, National Phase and International patent applications; works directly with foreign associates to file and prosecute foreign patent applications; prepares, files and maintains US and Madrid trademark applications; prepares, files and maintains opposition and cancellations matters with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; assists attorneys with due diligence research and implementation; and assists attorneys with IP litigation.
