While attending law school, Jonathan served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable John A. Kronstadt at the United States District Court for the Central District of California, was a member of the Loyola Los Angeles Law Review, and participated in the Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot. He currently has a law review article going through the publication process in the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. In the Vis competition, his team received an honorable mention for Best Claimant’s Brief.
Jonathan was also a Summer Associate at Reed Smith. He was a Research Assistant for 2 years for Professor Robert Brain and then for Professor Christopher Hawthorne. Additionally, he has experience representing clients in adversarial proceedings in court, which he obtained as a member of the Juvenile Innocence & Fair Sentencing Clinic at Loyola. Prior to law school, Jonathan worked in the medical field for 5 years.
