Laura is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment group. Laura has varied experience in supporting employers across a broad range of sectors including media and entertainment, financial services, banking and insurance, retail, professional services and telecommunications, advising on both contentious and non-contentious workplace issues.
Laura has experience advising on a wide range of employment law matters including employment status, grievance and disciplinary issues, absence and performance management, collective redundancies, harmonisation exercises, TUPE transfers and the employment aspects of corporate transactions. Laura regularly drafts and advises clients on settlement agreements, HR policies and service agreements.
Laura has particular expertise in advising on complex HR projects and cross border issues including large scale global restructuring and redundancy programmes. Laura regularly manages global employment projects and delivers multi-jurisdictional strategic advice for global clients.
Laura frequently acts for clients in defending complex and high value Employment Tribunal claims including whistleblowing and discrimination claims.
Laura has prepared and delivered bespoke training for HR and in-house legal teams on a variety of employment law issues.
