Brittney is a member of the Life Sciences Healthcare Industry group. She represents clients from all segments of the health care industry, including hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, medical staff, physicians, physician groups, and rehabilitation centers, among others, as well as individuals seeking advice and counsel.
Brittney also currently serves as a Volunteer Attorney with the Support Center for Child Advocates.
Brittney counsels clients on a variety of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations, including New Jersey licensing requirements, as well as Federal Stark laws, the State Codey laws, Federal Anti-Kickback laws, and both State and Federal False Claims laws. She assists clients with licensing needs and representation before professional boards, regulatory agencies, and accrediting bodies. Her practice includes handling state and federal administrative appeals related to enforcement and recovery actions; licensing and certification applications and advice; managed care contracting and reimbursement issues; defending governmental allegations of healthcare fraud and abuse; nursing home survey and certification issues; corporate compliance advice and services, and home health and hospice agency compliance matters.
