Rob Carnes is an associate in the firm’s Global Commercial Disputes group with broad experience in complex commercial litigation. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of substantive areas including general commercial, contract, shareholder, securities, and bankruptcy disputes. Rob has achieved favorable outcomes on case dispositive motions in federal, state, and appellate courts.
Rob maintains an active pro bono practice. Most recently, he served as appellate counsel for a class of low-income and minority students in a civil rights action against one of the nation’s largest school districts. Rob also served as co-lead trial counsel for an indigent plaintiff in a medical malpractice action against a prison facility.
