Josh specialises in real estate finance (REF) and advises borrowers/sponsors, lenders, facility agents, security agents/trustees, servicers and special servicers on all of REF's forms across a wide range of asset classes in the UK and European markets, including:
- investment and development loans;
- whole loans, bridging loans and senior / mezzanine loans;
- ground lease financings;
- loan-on-loan financings and warehouse financings;
- CMBS and CRE CLOs; and
- repos.
Josh advises on the full life cycle of a REF transaction – including structuring/origination/loan closing, administration/servicing, exit/syndication (including loan trading/loan participations and securitisation) and restructurings, workouts, defaults and enforcement.
Josh also advises both sellers and investors on loan portfolio (performing and non-performing) transactions covering a variety of asset classes, including commercial real estate, shipping and aviation.
