Josh specialises in real estate finance (REF) and advises borrowers, lenders, facility agents, security agents and trustees, servicers, and special servicers on the full spectrum of REF transactions in the UK and European markets, including:
- investment and development loans;
- whole loans, bridging loans, and senior and mezzanine loans;
- ground lease financings;
- back leverage: loan-on-loan financings, warehouse financings, and repos; and
- CMBS and CRE CLOs.
Josh advises clients on the full life cycle of a REF transaction, including structuring, origination, and loan closing; administration, servicing, exit, and syndication (including loan trading, loan participations, and securitisation); and restructurings, workouts, defaults, and enforcement.
Josh also advises both sellers and investors on loan portfolio (performing and non-performing) transactions covering a variety of asset classes, including commercial real estate, shipping, and aviation.
