John is an associate in the Complex Litigation Group. John’s practice concentrates on complex commercial disputes, with an emphasis on litigation arising out of, or related to, delinquent loans extended by institutional lenders or high-net-worth individuals. He has experience in a diverse range of subjects in state and federal commercial litigation, including contract disputes, ERISA fiduciary litigation, bankruptcy procedure, and recovery of dissipated assets, and has argued non-dispositive motions in federal court. John’s responsibilities have included drafting pleadings and dispositive motions filed in both state and federal courts, preparing strategy and risk assessment memoranda, researching discrete legal issues in support of pending or contemplated litigation, and assisting in all stages of discovery.
John is also a member of the New York office’s Pro Bono Committee, and is part of a team providing appellate representation for an Alabama prison inmate on death row.
