Jason is a partner in the Business & Finance group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of acquisitions and divestitures of businesses and intellectual property; the formation of joint ventures and strategic alliances; general corporate and commercial law; advising directors and shareholders of privately and publicly held companies; and the licensing and development of intellectual property.
Jason is a former director of Capri Corp., a software development company, and Strube Celery & Vegetable Co., the largest distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables in the Midwest. Jason is also a member of the board of the Logan Square Club of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago and a past member of the corporate board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago. Jason is also a frequent speaker at the Veterans Administration's Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities held annually at Purdue University's Krannert School of Management. In 2021 Jason was recognized as a BTI M&A Client Service All-Star, and in 2017 Jason was recognized as one of 319 lawyers worldwide as a BTI Client Service All-Star by BTI Consulting Group for providing superior service to clients.
