Stephen has been with the firm since 1979, first as an associate, then as an equity partner for 36 years, and most recently as counsel to the firm. As a member of the real estate group, Stephen regularly represents real estate lenders and institutional investors in connection with mortgage loans, equity investments and real estate acquisitions and dispositions. He has developed particular expertise in connection with real estate joint ventures and preferred equity transactions.
