A staunch advocate for his clients, Jason counsels managed care organizations in arbitrations and litigation in state and federal courts across the country. Experienced with litigating temporary restraining orders and emergency injunctions, clients turn to Jason when they need immediate action to protect their interests.
Jason has extensive experience in payor/provider disputes; assisting clients with contract claims; out-of-network reimbursement issues; claims related to fraud, waste, and abuse; and violations of state and federal statutes and regulations. He represents commercial clients as well as Medicare Advantage and Medicaid managed care organizations, providing counsel on unique litigation and compliance issues across various markets and regulatory spheres.
When the need arises, Jason assists managed care clients to promptly assess risk and develop a strategy for success at the earliest possible stage.
In addition to his managed care practice, Jason has experience representing private equity firms, financial services companies, and other businesses in a range of disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, corporate transactions and securities, non-competition agreements, unfair competition, trade secrets, and trusts.
Outside of the office, Jason volunteers with Greyhounds Only, Inc., a nonprofit greyhound adoption group, by providing pro bono general legal advice and representation to the organization. He also opens his home to fosters.
