Gilbert is an associate in the Corporate Department of the Hong Kong office. He qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2017. He maintains a wide corporate commercial practice, including corporate governance, compliance and regulatory investigations.
In his corporate governance, regulatory and compliance practice, he has represented listed companies, banks, accountants, and entities licensed under the Securities and Futures Ordinance in dealing with different regulators for various investigations and other compliance and licensing issues.
Gilbert graduated from Peking University before reading law at the University of Hong Kong. He worked in the Department of Justice as a Government Counsel for five years before joining the firm. He can communicate fluently in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
