Trish is a highly experienced attorney who advises clients on cross-border financing transactions with a focus on structured finance, ABS, and private credit. She has particular experience in financing esoteric assets through ABS transactions and experience in highly structured transactions (including repacks, structured repos, receivables financings, ABS, and bespoke structured financings). She also advises clients on transactions involving equipment and aviation financings.
Trish is a key member of Reed Smith On Chain, a cross-practice group that services matters involving blockchain technology. She often advises clients on transactions involving blockchain technology, including using digital assets as collateral, and advising clients on "on-chain" securitization structures to finance real-world assets. Trish also regularly advises on DeFi transactions where a decentralized autonomous organization (a DAO) is involved.
Trish’s experience also includes US securities regulations in private placement transactions under the Securities Act (Reg S / 144A, Rule 4(a)(2)), Investment Company Act issues, UCC Article 8 and Article 9 issues, and Risk Retention.
Trish is a dual-qualified NY attorney and a solicitor admitted in England and Wales.
