Greg is a partner in the firm's Executive Compensation, Private Client and Tax Group and counsels individuals and closely held businesses on matters involving federal tax issues, with a focus on estate and business succession planning. He also advises clients on general business issues and international tax matters in conjunction with sophisticated estate and trust planning.
Greg advises clients on a broad range of tax, estate and business matters, including estate freezing techniques, gift planning using valuation discounts, generation-skipping transfer tax issues, trust design and administration, estate administration, and income tax issues regarding trusts and estates. He also helps clients on issues concerning closely held corporation and partnership design and organization, partner and shareholder agreements, insurance planning, asset protection planning, resident alien and international estate and gift tax issues, deferred charitable gift planning, and tax controversy resolution.
