Steve is counsel in Reed Smith’s Global Commercial Disputes Group and represents clients in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation from numerous industries. Steve has represented individuals and business organizations in state and federal courts across the country, as well as in arbitration proceedings.
Steve has extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes litigation matters. His practice frequently involves shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty actions, complex contract litigation and prosecuting or defending claims of fraud. Steve counsels clients through all phases of these and other litigation matters, ranging from pretrial strategy and dispute resolution through trial and potential appeals. Steve has successfully taken many cases to trial, while also understanding the benefits of an early resolution of disputes. To that end, he has substantial experience with pretrial motions and summary judgment to either limit the scope of issues at trial or completely resolve the case.
